| UNMATA (Undercovers) Private Slumber Party Workshop January 26 & 27 2008 So you’ve got the Winterblah? Wanna spend 24 hours locked in with UNMATA while the grrrls cook for you, serve you, entertain you, bestow gifts on you, and best of all—teach you an entire intermediate choreography that becomes yours to own? Saturday, January 26, 2008 12noon Show up to Hot Pot Studio for a delicious vegetarian lunch to cure your munchies, and meet and greet the other participants in your class. 2oclock Clear the dance floor and warm up for Segment 1 of the Undercovers Intensive Choreography. 3oclock You thought you were getting a break? Nope. Get ready for segment 2 of the Intensive. 420oclock Now you get your break, and homemade goodies to munch down on before we continue. 5oclock Clear the floor again and charge on with Segment 3 of the Intensive. 6:30 Free time to do whatever you want with your classmates while UNMATA cooks and serves you a healthy but yummy dinner. After dinner the Party starts! We’ll entertain you with song and dance performances, a little comedy, some ghost stories, and of course we’ve got a few surprises up our sleevies for your amusement. We’ll have midnight snacks, gossip, Q & A, and more storytelling as we stretch out for the night together on a giant Hot Pot pallet. You can sleep if you want, but beware of raccoons… Sunday, January 27, 2008 8oclock Good Morning! Wake up to coffee and snacks but don’t fill up, you still have 2 more Intensive segments to learn. 9oclock Clear the floor and warm up for Segment 4. 10oclock You’re almost there! Learn Segment 5 to complete the choreography. After completing the dance we’ll briefly review each segment and perform the entire dance together. After leaving UNMATA Undercovers, you will be free to teach and perform the choreography however and wherever you’d like. We will provide a cheatsheet for your reference. 11oclock Graduation! The grrrls will serve you brunch while everyone socializes some more, takes a class portrait, and then bids those dreaded farewells. UNMATA Undercovers is one of a series of fundraisers geared to send the UNMATA grrrls to Taiwan in March 2008. All proceeds will go towards the trip. Enrollment is first-come-first-serve and limited to 15 guests. Total cost for the 24 hours? $150 |
